Tip

Have a student bring a personal schedule with any current sports, clubs, or school activities which can help us schedule lessons around their availability

Registration

Our “In-Person” registration is designed to limit the exposure of our students to the DMV.  We never subject students to waiting in long lines at the DMV with an instructor to buy a permit then wait on a separate line simply to complete a vision test.  Our students never start their first lesson from the overcrowded parking lot at a DMV location.

Everything we do at Bridgewater Driving School is designed to streamline the permit process and maximize the amount of “Behind the Wheel” lesson time for our student driver.  We’re proud to say that more than 99% of our students never see the inside of a DMV until the day the take a Road Test.

To Register:

NO APPOINTMENT NECESSARY

Students may register in person, with a parent or legal guardian, during the following days and times:

Monday thru Friday: 9 am to 5 pm

( Students taking written test must arrive by 4:15 pm )

** Important **  For us to schedule driving lessons, all students must bring the three items listed below.

1. “Students” Original Birth Certificate or U.S. Passport - This is a DMV requirement.  All original documents will be returned at the completion of our services. Students from out of the country will have to present a Resident Alien Card. For other foreign documentation, please contact us directly via phone.  No lessons will be scheduled unless either of these documents are submitted.

2. “Students” Social Security Number - This must be included on the DMV permit application.  Discrepancies with the “Student” Social Security Number will only delay the process.  Please be precise, when filling out the social security number on the application.

3. “Students” Written Test Waiver Card –  If the written test was taken at school, we need that card upon registration.

REMEMBER TO BRING GLASSES/CONTACTS FOR THE VISION TEST THAT WILL BE ADMINISTERED UPON REGISTERING

If you have any questions before stopping in, please contact us first.

BDS = No-DMV

Our in person registration for 16 yr old applicants allows us to avoid DMV before, during, and after the lessons for both our instructors and students.

Testing is free

There is no additional charge for Written Testing for a 16 yr old student enrolled in our Behind-the-Wheel training.
